Automobiles in Germany's Town Discovered Smeared with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Police mentioned they were contacted by a man who discovered a car in Hanau covered with red-colored substance

Approximately fifty vehicles have been smeared with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Vehicles, walls and postal boxes were defaced, sometimes with swastikas, they stated in a statement.

Law enforcement state they were alerted during the night on Wednesday night, when a man observed that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been marked with a reddish substance.

The fluid had been placed in the pattern of a banned symbol, they added.

Law enforcement then located many other marked automobiles and house walls in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany under laws banning the public display of Nazi symbols.

Police say early analysis show the liquid was likely human blood.

"At present there remains no clue as to its source; investigators are not yet aware of any harm in association with the occurrence," they stated.

Local authorities announced they were working "to unravel the incident" and have appealed to the residents for details.

An important representative stated the incident made him stunned and needed to be solved quickly.

"This act strikes at the center of Hanau and revives the pain of the far-right terrorist attack in 2020," he stated on social media, recalling the death of nine victims by a shooter targeting residents of foreign heritage in February 2020.
